铜狮子嘴中的球是如何放进去的

狮子的形态各异，仔细观察，大多口中含着一个小球，并且这个球还可以转动，但无论你怎样做，都无法将球取出来。细看铜狮子头部，还没有拼接的痕迹。那么这个球是怎么放进狮子口中的呢?

实际上，早年间，狮子嘴里的球都是用镂空雕刻技术打磨出来的。工匠师傅用铅笔，在狮子嘴巴部位描绘出舌头、牙齿以及球的轮廓后，就会用刻刀把周边多余的料去掉，直到狮子嘴里只剩一个圆球形状。

而现在的工匠师傅追求效率，有的提前会把圆球雕刻打磨好，切成两半后，再在狮子嘴里用专业胶水粘起来。

总的来说，镂空雕琢球，费时费力，但更精美。而现在的技术提高了工作效率，但却让球失去了传统韵味。
